Why KIMONO MODERNAIZATION PROJECT？
Michail is passionate about Japanese textiles. He is starting the Kimono Modernization Project which aims to translate traditional aesthetics of the Kimono into modern garments. Michail will re-imagine the kimono by transforming vintage kimonos into exciting future thinking new pieces ready to be worn by the next generation while retaining the traditional beauty of the Japanese Kimono.
